Not much to report from an Aces team that is in free-fall and now faces a serious threat of being relegated from South Africa's 3rd division on Wednesday 25 April.
Aces are now 1 position above the drop zone and face the tough African All Stars away on Wednesday. They will be keeping an eye on Leruma who have a far easier game at home against M Tigers. The statistics are clear. Should Aces lose or draw and Leruma win, the Gold City Giants will be relegated.
All eyes will be on the top as to who will represent Gauteng in the playoffs. Both JDR and Maccabi both scrapped a win this weekend and it will be down to the wire on Wednesday. Both have relatively 'easy' games and should JDR draw or lose and Maccabi win, the Balfour franchise will represent Gauteng.
Time will tell......
