The Gold City Giants beat Dube Continental 2-1 in a league match played in Linksfield this afternoon.

Theo Mbiyozo, who has missed the past three games, scored a brace to secure a good results for Aces.

It was pleasing to see two 16 year old Black Aces Academy players starting today. Alexi Apollonatos made his debut start, while Brad Cross was given the armband.

Mbiyozo opened Aces account in the 35th minute while Dube Continentals drew level in the 55th minute. Theo scored the winner, his 8th for the season in the 68th minute.
