Alex Black Aces Academy teams had a field day winning 3 & drawing 1 against Bidvest Wits Academy at Sturrock Park on Saturday.

Under 13's
Bidvest Wits 1 – 1 Alex Black Aces
Aces GS: Braydon Dunn

COACHES COMMENTS
A good team performance from a depleted side due to injury and illness.

Again we created more chances than the opposition with our keeper only having to make one save the whole game.

Should of been a victory.

Under 15's
Bidvest Wits 1 – 2 Alex Black Aces
Aces GS: Junior Nare, Samkelo Zwane

COACHES COMMENTS
Good game overall!!

Completely dominated the 1st half in all areas of the game. Fantastic work rate on and off the ball.

The same continued for the greater part of the 2nde half. Not happy with how we literally gave them a late consolation goal with just 3 minutes to go.

We could of and should of scored more goals. Despite this favourable result, a considerable amount of work still awaits us and the boys.

Under 17's
Bidvest Wits 1 – 3 Alex Black Aces
Aces GS: Brandon Phiri (2), James McFarlane

COACHES COMMENTS
Inconsistent performance. We started well but once we went 2-nil up the boys got a little complacent and allowed Wits back into the game - and we finished the half at 2-1.

Wits came at us in the 2nd half but the boys weathered the storm well and finished the stronger team scoring a 3rd late in the 2nd half.

4 wins and a draw in our last 5 games. Good effort from the boys.

Under 19's
Bidvest Wits 3 – 4 Alex Black Aces
Aces GS: Thabiso Botopela (2), Dino Tshetu, OG

COACHES COMMENTS
Boys started sloppy and conceded two early goals but had a great comeback to finish the game the stronger.

The team became stable when midfield tactical changes effected the game positively in our favoyur.

All goals were scored in the 1st half. clearly end-to-end stuff.

Much gratitude and appreciation for coach Raymon'ds selfless intervention to assist the U19's. Black Aces has amazing coaches and for that I'm grateful for all their support!
