The game started in atrocious conditions but credit to the Methlareng Stadium groundsmen for clearing the water after a heavy downpour.
Aces came into the match on an unbeaten 8-match run and they immediately took control of the game. Ama BEE did try hard but found the Gold City Giants too much to handle on the day.
Theo Mbiyozo enhanced his growing reputation having come into the match scoring four goals from the past three, by remarkably scoring all four of Aces goals.
His first was sensational. Aces were awarded a rather innocuous freekick on the halfway line and 'Zizo' looked up and saw the keeper off his line and floated a perfect kick directly into goal. 1-0 Aces which was also the halftime score.
Mbiyozo then took the game by the scruff of its neck and scored another three goals in 7 minutes (66', 68', 73') to take his tally to four for the match and 9 for the season.
The Tembisa franchise did score a consolation goal in the 78' but it was all Aces who could of scored at least another 3 or 4 goals.
Aces win, extends their unbeaten run to nine while pushing them up to 5th on the log.
Aces next match will be at home against JDR Stars on Saturday 4 March.
