Aces 'Triple Threat'

Mathenjwa, Mbiyozo and Mogaila are forming what promises to be one of the hottest attacking combinations in the Gauteng ABC Motsepe League.

Every big club has a combination of attacking players who make the team special and feared by opponents. These players are trusted with causing havoc for defenders. They create goal scoring chances and entertain the crowd with their skills and flair. Football fans pay their hard earned money to see their favorite players in action and these players are the backbone of every club. Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona have the BBC and MSN trio leading their attacks.

Locally, Mamelodi Sundowns have the CBD causing all sorts of problems in the PSL. Our own trio of Siyanda Mathenjwa, Theo Mbiyozo and Mokheti Mogaila are forming what promises to be one of the hottest attacking combinations in the Gauteng ABC Motsepe League. Simply known as the triple M, the hard working midfielders are firing in all cylinders. Mathenjwa is one of the hardest working midfielders in the league. His work rate alone is enough to unsettle any defence.

Behind the strikers, Mbiyozo pulls all the strings. His close ball control means he is always a step ahead. The trio is completed by the hard running Mogaila, the right footed winger is in the league of his own. He can create space for himself, get behind defenders and deliver a pin point cross like no other. Opposition coaches have worked hard to try and stop the attacking trio without success. With Aces hosting Moroka Swallows on Saturday, the triple M will expected to be at their best.
